Loved the historic half-timbered building, especially the flashing spot lights in the strange décor. Enjoyed the low ceiling and lack of blinds in the loft room. Train noise and limited breakfast selection added to the charm.
Just couldn't get enough of that wonderful view of the castle from inside the lovely old building. Shame the style didn't match.

Had a great weekend at a hotel recently. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and made sure that we had everything we needed. The evening meal was delicious and the beer was fantastic. The hotel was also in a great location, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and a beautiful castle to admire. We also loved the fact that we could bring our bikes with us and the hotel staff looked after them for us.
There were a few downsides. The stairs were quite narrow and steep, which was a bit difficult to navigate with our luggage.
